ELIZABETH “BETTY” KREUTZBERG (nee LUCAS), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was 85.

Betty was born November 7, 1932 to Anna and John Lucas in Yonkers NY, where she lived her entire life, and was always proud to be the youngest of 7 children. She graduated from Commerce High School and was a longtime member of St. Nicholas of Myra Church. On June 14, 1953, she married her beloved husband, Donald, and they were married 63 years at the time of his death last year.

Betty is survived by daughters, Betty Lee Kreutzberg and Donna (Randi) Ferine, daughter-in-law, Valerie, her sister, Veronica (Bill) Yurus and brother-in-law, Ken (Jane) Kreutzberg. She is also survived by her much loved grandchildren, whom she was so proud of, Eric (Jenelle) Ferine, Lisa (Todd) Shutter, Dana Ferine and Kelsey Kreutzberg, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kaeli, Gavin and Jakob Ferine and Benjamin, Timothy, and Jonathan Shutter, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald, sons, Donald, David, and Kenneth, her sisters, Anna Brill, Helen LeCount, Mary Carney, her brothers, John and Michael Lucas, and step-father, Peter Lucas.
She was the best MOM and GRAM ever and we will miss her.

Visitation at DUCHYNSKI-CHERKO Funeral Home (601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers NY 10704), Friday, December 15, 2017, from 11AM to 12NOON followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home. Interment is Private.
